Carrier Humidifiers

Carrier Humidifiers are manufactured at Carrier which was founded in 1902 and since then has maintained its position as the world leader in refrigeration systems, heating and air conditioners. It is a completely owned subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation. The headquarters of this company are in Farmington, Connecticut, USA and in 172 nations there are about 45,000 employees. The humidifiers manufactured by Carrier enhance the indoor air quality by controlling moisture. These are of two types.

Performance Fan Humidifier

The Performance Fan Carrier Humidifier works by blowing moisture vapor into the ducts. One can have optimum humidity levels throughout the year using his humidifier. Also static electricity shocks can be prevented. The prominent features of this Carrier humidifier are as follows – 5 year limited warranty, small and large capacity models available, optimum moisture distribution, attractive long lasting cover, low noise operation, front access door and self powered fan. There are 3 models in this humidifier type called as HUMCCSFP, HUMCALFP, and HUMCCLFP. Out of these, HUMCCLFP has a capacity of 18 gallons per day. Its operation is nearly silent. Drain Through water flow technology is used and the airflow is by means of fans. A Damper is not required and expanded Aluminum is used for evaporator pad. A thermoplastic cover is used and the protection is UV resistant type. On the other hand, HUMCCSFP has a capacity of 16 gallons per day. The other specifications of this humidifier are similar to the above type.

Performance Bypass Humidifier

Performance Bypass Humidifier is a Carrier Humidifier in which the furnace blower directs the moisture vapor in the ducts. Due to this less power is required. There are smart control options to maintain comfortable moisture levels. The significant characteristics of this humidifier are as follows – Limited warranty of 5 years on parts, small or large capacity models, optimum moisture distribution, attractive long lasting cover, low noise operation and front access door. This humidifier comes in 3 models – HUMCASBP, HUMCALBP and HUMCCLBP. HUMCCLBP has a capacity of 18 gallons per day. A drain through water flow is used. There is an inbuilt bypass damper and expanded Aluminum evaporator pad. The airflow is of bypass type. UV resistant protection and thermoplastic cover is used. This model has dimensions of 15 ½” X 13 1/8” X 9 1/8”. The HUMCCSBP model has a capacity of 12 gallons per day. It has nearly silent operation. The controls that are supported are Thermidistat, HumidStat, HumidTrac and Infinity Control. The dimensions of this humidifier are 12 ¾” X 12 7/8” X 9 1/8”. HUMCALBP model has a capacity of 18 gallons per day. It has an installation of type Upflow, Downflow and Horizontal. The dimensions of this model are similar to the HUMCCSBP type.
